Seems a little too good to be true, but yes no
kidding, this is what you will get in a bundle – a bottle of bird’s nest!! I’ve done some reading about TruLife Bird’s Nest, it is prepared with authentic and natural
bird’s nest without artificial preservatives, flavouring or colouring. This is
important in retaining its natural goodness!
I love sweet stuff, and I'm used to my mother and grandmother's version of bird's nest which is full of gingko nuts and rock sugar! I guess, the traditional way of preparation is still the best. Plus, you can really taste a full piece of bird’s nest within this bottle. Definitely worth a try!
Having said that, just last week, I’ve attended
Watson’s day out event and saw TruLife has a booth there too. They were mainly
promoting their bird’s nest drink very generously, I’ve tried it and much love
to it! I remembered they are one of the busier booth, besides the bird’s nest
being the hot favourites, they also served jelly desserts that are specially
concocted with their collagen drinks! I thought this is really thoughtful of
them to have prepared and served it differently.
The TruLife Bird's Nest is just slightly sweetened,
definitely a healthier version to what I'm used to! They also have options for

The MORES 2 Eye Sleeping Eye Mask is my
favourite product in this edition of BlackBox!
They sent me the full-sized product but in this
edition you will receive a mini tube to give it a try first. My eyes have been feeling really tired from work
and I feel like I'm getting more and more fine lines by the inner corner of my
eyes so I was desperate to try anything to keep my eye area more hydrated, so this
came just right! I applied one pump of this sleeping eye mask and went to sleep
and my eye area was looking more plumped up and smooth instead of looking so
tired and my fine lines looked a lot less obvious which I thought was crazy
miraculous!
I just apply one pump of this around my eyelid and
undereye area and as you can see on my hand it's just a really light and
translucent gel type mask and it absorbs quite quickly so it doesn't transfer
to my pillowcase or whatever.
I've also been trying the MORES White Booster
Plus+, the scent of the product is just right. Although I have not seen any
real whitening effect yet, then again I've only been trying it for a couple of days
so I'll give it a little more time to take effect! That said, it does hydrate
my oily skin well without leaving any greasiness.
Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic
Concentrate
I initially thought that this was a hand sanitizer
of sorts but then, after a closer look, it says “For Hands and Body”! Basically
this is a hand/body gel moisturiser with higher hyaluronic concentrate for fast
absorption and hydrates your hands and body deeply. I place this in the
washroom so I can use it after washing my hands or when I'm fresh out of the
shower. I would also use it on my arms and shoulder, or generally dryer parts
of the body. Love that it absorbs real quick and doesn't leave any sticky
feeling!
It says,
if you are experiencing very dry or scaly skin, you can speed up or
double the effectiveness and absorption rate by applying a layer of Hyaluronic
Concentrate to your skin first, followed by your preferred hand cream. Not a
bad idea, this way more reasons to get one without the thought of having too many
bottles of cream sticking around. Haha!
I've previously tried the Tsubaki Camillia Hair Oil
in another Exclusive combination by BlackBox - A Stroke of Beauty and I really
love the scent which lingers in my hair. I love it when my hubbay smells my
hair when he hugs me awwww so I'm always concerned on how my hair smells! The Tsubaki Extra Moist shampoo +
conditioner left my hair lightly scented all day and it's moisturizing
enough for my damaged hair!

I like that they also included the Uriage Thermal Water & Pearlie White Fluorinze Alcohol Free Fluoride
Mouth Rinse which I brought them with me to the office as my life saviour!
I keep my skin hydrated throughout the day with
Uriage Thermal Water, My skin will get oily after a long day as I’m like stuck
in the air-conditioned room all day long, and in such condition, our skin tend
to be dehydrated. My skin definitely need this.
They are make-up friendly too, so you can bring it
along with you anywhere you go, with or without make-up!

Mouth
rinse is useful and it’s a daily necessity to help destroy plaque-causing
bacteria, relieves tooth sensitivity and strengthens your tooth enamel that
fights bacteria that causes bad breath, plaque and cavities. It is free from
harsh ingredients like SLS, Parabens and Saccharin.
Since I have braces on, I'm always concerned of
having food stuck in my braces (gross) and I want to have clean, nice breath
even after whatever rubbish I ate during lunch, mouth rinse is perfect for me!

All in all, I think this is quite an interesting
edition of the BlackBox and I have had a great experience trying all the
products and ended up finding some products that I really like and would
include in my daily life for the long run!
